I'm getting my new tires put on tomorrow. Planning on taking my daughter and niece up to Disney to see the dam and flood gates etc...And planning on doing a little off roading. Anyone want to tag along?

Spotted a nice red 2nd gen down here at lake murray. Someone named it "red rocket". Good looking truck whoever it belongs to.

Rented one of those Casita 17' trailers from Outdoor Rec on base for the weekend...damn that thing towed great! Truck handled with ease and it felt like it was riding better with extra weight in the rear. Had no issues going up the only big hill in OK, managed to get 14mpg on the way down. Haven't filled yet from the return but it looks to be better.

On a side note, Lake Murray down there in Ardmore is a beautiful place to camp and is only a 90 minute drive from OKC.

Yeah those trailers are great! Have to be careful with them on rough roads though... Was towing one down in witchata mountains and managed to tear the drain pipe off of it...

Thanks bro, I'm having to get over a bit of sticker shock before I can invest close to $1,000.

That's always a good reason! I just gave my dimensions to a guy in Lawton that has a metal fab/welding shop. So hopefully soon we will have some sliders :)
