Bill also pop the hood and check the 2 mounting tabs from the grill to the headlights . Mine broke when I got in a fender bender . I'd go over that thing as much as you can before giving him a price . Also if you get a quote from copeland and give it to the guy . I can most likely find those parts cheaper then copeland . Make alittle money off him for your troubles .

I don't mind grooved pavement, my bike is heavy and I have touring tires on it so it's pretty stable. Open grate bridges are my biggest fear when on the bike. I was in VA once and there was an open grate bridge on a highway, no warning signs and I hit it at 70 MPH. I have no idea how I kept it upright!

Dave, do you know that guy? How would one get ahold of him? :spy:

Going back to stock? What will you be building up next?

Ya I checked the headlight adjusters and the grill they were ok. Is the lower valance a seperate part or is it part of the bumper cover?

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
:woot: swapped coilovers before the rain got here! I think i did it under 1 1/2 hours with hand tools, im starting to get good at this lol.

Damn, that sucks, hope it all works out well. I wonder if you can have a adjuster give you a price without going through insurance, just to see what that ridiculous amount would be, then show it to the guy at fault and he will feel like he is getting a deal when he hands you a big fat check. My buddys wife was rear ended a few days ago, has a tinnnyy dent on the bumper, insurance wrote her a $900 check. A few weeks ago my girlfriend got rear ended, it was pretty bad, she decided to have it fixed, the body shop got over 4 grand.
