I found out I only have to get a associates degree instead of a bachelors, so I'm gonna go for a assc. Of automotive technology, and I'm gonna minor in BIO (if its possible)

I'd get a bachelors either way, you do not want to go out in the world with only an associates and no experience these days.

I'm having a hard enough time trying to find internships with only a bachelors.. looks like I'll be doing something I'd said I'd never do and thats go back to school.

 

Game warden, the guys in the LEO BS threa told me to not major in CJ as its almost useless, and I can fall back on being a mechanic if there isn't a job opening soon enough in fish and wildlife.

 

You're looking at white collar jobs aren't you?
If the LE doesn't work out I'd be very content working a blue collar job.

 

Honestly I'd still go for a bachelors.. its opens up your possibilities. And yes, CJ is getting to be the same as a Political Science or Art degree nowadays

I don't, I'd hate to have the prefix "Dr" in front of my name. I'd feel like a douche.

Hey if you're absolutely sure you want to be a game warden for your entire life then go for it, nothing worse than being stuck in a crappy position due to lack of formal education though.

The nice thing is that you can always go back to school nowadays with the online stuff.
