Any 2009 Pyrite Mica's out there..?

Never would have thought I'd buy a "brown" truck, but pyrite looks a different color in every lighting condition. I really like the color.

Seems like there are more and more vehicles on the road that are a Pyrite Mica look-alike color. I've seen other trucks and SUV's from other makes that look pretty similar, including a BMW. We probably weren't the first, but this color is definitely spreading.

Man I'm glad I found this thread! Just bought my first Tacoma, a 2012 DCSB TRD OR in pyrite mica. You guys have some great looking trucks, you're definitely giving me some inspiration.

I got one. looked at doublecab tacomas forever and when I found a low mileage 09 I couldn't resist and pulled the trigger. best color on a truck I've ever owned

I love this color....only one other pyrite my town with bronze trd wheels.....tires. lift and wheels done. ...what now?

 

I looked long and hard at all the other colors. Narrowed it down to Mag. Gray and this one. Glad I picked this one. Nothing else quite as unique IMHO.

I am new here but I just got a 2013 AC, SR5, 2.7l, 5spd, 4x4 in Pyrite Mica! I also love the color. I was originally looking for Silver Mica but when I saw the Pyrite in person I knew that is what I wanted.

 

Hey whats up fellas? My first post here, but have lurked in the shadows for many moons, just drooling over your tacos. But I finally pulled the trigger and bought the 4x4 Toyota that I have wanted since my freshman year of high school. Ya know, ever since Michael J Fox returned home in "Back To The Future" and found his in front of his house. I knew that someday that beauty would be my truck in my driveway...

AND NOW IT IS!!!!!

So, whatchya think? Its a 2011 w/ only 9700 miles. Got a steal of a deal on it. Aftermarket rims, 4x4, factory tow package. She looks good but think i might paint the wheels (suggestions? black, dark gray, color matched?), add some weathertech floor mats, a bubble on the mirror, and I need a hitch ball mount (suggestions?). Paint the nerf bars? Debadge it? get extra TSB leaf spring? A bed mat? Seat covers? ahh, the list goes on and on....

So given what I got, throw some opinions my way, and the order you might do it in!!!!

Heck, am I even posting this in the right place on the forum? eh, who knows...

Also have a dumb question. What is it? Think its a base model, but having a really hard time tracking down others with black fenders. Try a google image search for this truck... not hardly anything looks like it.
