    From what I've been told, mechanical engineering is sorta like a jack of all trades engineering. It doesn't specifically focus on one field of engineering but more briefly over a broad spectrum

    Uhh.. I can't really answer that one.. PSUtaco85 has an electrical engineering degree and works at a nuclear power plant.. I have a family friend with a mechanical engineering degree that works on HVAC.. I guess it depends on where there are jobs

    It's almost easier for you to research each engineering specialization. Industrial engineering deals with the process of producing parts, quality control, lean manufacturing, etc.
