Probably far more expensive than a Tacoma.

I can't say I understand that Euro ranger disdain either.

Looks like the render from last month is spot-on. Here's an official photo released today. Not as ugly as the international version, but not as good as the Taco:

Imo, the Taco doesn't need exterior styling changes, but the powertrain and the interior could use a refresh. Unfortunately, with what happened with the "all new" corolla and Tundra, I dint think we can expect engine upgrades for a few years.

The Taco would be flawless with better MPG and a more functionally enhanced cabin. Nothing platinum Tundra like, but a few enhancements that make the truck more decade appropriate.

Ford's the only company who been willing to give you a premium tier of a model that passes it's bigger brother's base price effectively. Their hard work (and ridiculous trim limited and platinum trim levels) has paid off in sick profits this year.

^It's funny how that works, people willing to pay $$$ for a premium trim level F150, while the Lincoln Mark LT falters.

Huh, learn something new every day. I'm semi-surprised they haven't gone to electric power steering with the new Colorado.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
that new front end from the 4runner is hideous. Like a pig on 'roid rage or something.

I hate all the techno crap, touch screens, etc.

If all of the auto makers would quit making gadgets and actually make cars or trucks, we'd have some awesome stuff.

Wish I still had my old Toyota and Chevy trucks from the 80s.
My 89 Chevy with a V8 was more fun to drive and got the same mpg as my 2004 Colorado with I5 engine. Colorado was the worst vehicle ever btw. Something was always broken on it.
I like my 2005 taco well enough but the 1988 toyota felt better built even with 200k+ miles on it. The 88 definately didn't rattle as much as my 05 does.

Guys the fact is the new Taco is a 2016. Just spent the last 3 days at the National Toyota Meeting in Atlanta. It was announced. Will happen in two years.

One can never have too many light bars.
Rest In Peace Nissan Pathfinder. The new one is basically a glorified mini-van.
