Yea prolly the dirt track races. I haven't been to one in years. I used to enjoy them. There's a lot of stuff to do, you just gotta look. Like the outlet malls, western playland, wet and wild bowling, pool, bars, paintball, wheeling, shopping, chicos tacos etc. Lol

Well I'm not sure about that. You'd have to ask someone who drinks beer. And someone who lives in that town LOL

    I just picked this up.

Now I'm selling my 81 and maybe my M416 trailer.

I may move to a Tundra next year so I can haul it up to Moab.

    Thanks.

Everything I wanted to do to the 81 was already done to this, plus it is fuel injected, an extra cab and a V6.

So now all I really need to do is add a winch, sliders and a Marlin Crawler or go pick up another transfer case (there's one on CL right now).

Nice looking truck. Looking forward to seeing it out on the trail. Did you have to lie to Uhaul about what you were towing so you could rent that trailer? :D

Nope, no issues, but I thought there would be some.

I was also worried about width, but that was OK.

I caught a plane to Phoenix Sunday morning, a cab to U Haul, drove to the guys house and was headed back to El Paso in under an hour after I met him. It took a little over nine hours to get back home.

If I don't Have it tagged by February, I'm going to rent the same setup and live in the back of the van during the week of the Chile Challenge.

I'm going to put my 81 on CL this weekend so I can free up room on the side of the house to work on this.

What all does the truck need? If you're going to add dual cases, etc. Might want to keep the 81 for spare parts? Just a thought.

I need to get rid of the 81 to make room on the side of the house.

I could part it out and keep what I need, plus I need to replenish the money I took out of stocks to buy this.

There's a broken lockout, leaky power steering and brake line on the new truck.

Nothing major, though and overall, it doesn't appear to have had much trail use.

Motors good trans good and flow master exhaust in good shape.

I will need another T case and it has a spool locker in the rear, which I need to swap out and add a locker up front.

It chirps the tires going around corners.

I don't plan on driving it on the street a lot, but I want to hit the East desert without having to haul it out there.

So after a very very long wait and two different fabricators, I finally have my bumper finished!

Anb Custom Fabrication did a killer job on it and I am impressed! Plus he had it finished in no time! Here are the specs on it... 1-3/4DOM sides, 1-1/4DOM braces, 1-1/2" ERW over the grill. 3/8" winch plate, clevis and bumper mount made on one piece of 1/2" Steel, 3/16" on the rest. It weighs almost 80lbs.

    Check out his website http://anbcustomfabrication.webs.com/
