I know there are people on here that swear by them...

I've seen one too many threads on a treadwright fail to ever purchase them.

 

I read a lot of the same about the treadwright. I am pretty happy with Dick Cepeks FC 2s. They just cost a little more but well worth it and they hold up for a long time, my old ones off my old truck are still rolling around and they had 15000 on them 3 years ago.

 

threadwrights were the best thing i ever did to my truck. well that and selling it before i joined the subed in the pine barren's club

 

Yeah I have been hearing so many mixed opinions and reviews on them. I figure I'll give them a shot and form my own. At least until I can actually afford KM2's or something.

 

only issues i have seen was the side wall peeling which was only cosmetic and they have charged their mold so thats not an issue any more. and a blow out that was founded out to be a really over pressured tire

 

On my second set of them and love them
I use my truck in more conditions then most
I get about 35-40k on them and have not ever had a flat with them
For $125 a tire u cant beat it in my opinion

 

Sand and asphalt?

Definity Dakota m/t. I think he said under $500 total.

I think Ant has one for his spare as well. Not a bad looking tire

edit: He said he paid $600 out the door. Buy 3 get 1 free.

 

scott is a great example of how well the tires are made i have seen him abuse these tires over the years and have no issues

 

33 years.

 

Dakota = crap tires

 

ask me if i like them in 5-10k miles

so far they look beastly

 

my duratracs have held up quite nicely contrary to what people usually say about them and i have wheeled with them and driven A LOT on them

 

I think you will be happy with your dakota's based on a review I read on here.

Well Barbie drives a jeep so it sounds like he has the right vehicle. Jeeps are chick cars

If Scott likes his treadwrights better than his old Dakota's, they must not be very good

 

I didn't realize he had run dakota's previously.

 

i was talking about the years since u have been married.....

try running them offroad on a rock and you will be shelling out money for a new one im sure....
