She's flaky as hell. Also very into herself; you don't talk with her, you listen to her talk about her.

Also, she's considerably younger than my daughter.

Can't help much with the 350 but if you want help or ideas on the rest of the drivetrain, let me know.

I'd give you my old FSM if I still had it.

A question for anyone here; I'm going to be going shooting (actually chronographing my latest bunch of handloads) either this weekend or the next and I shoot out off of Cabezon road (west of San Ysidro). I was wondering if anyone knows how muddy it is out west? Is western Rio Rancho impassibly muddy? I'll be putting my Mud-terrains on this weekend, but my mostly stock truck get a bit squirrelly on that nasty caliche stuff when it's really wet, basically just goes right into the nearest ditch.

Edit: if it's really, really muddy, maybe I should have a 4x4 buddy come along to pull me out. Anybody want to shoot with me this Sunday or next weekend?

Is that from your LSD kicking in or just the light rear end?

Light rear end, less ground clearance than you lifted folks, not much power to power through the deep stuff, and partly-scared driver.

I haven't had the truck out in bad mud since I put the LSD in, so I don't know how it will affect things. Certainly better to have both rears turning than just one, but you're right about the propensity for the rear to follow the slope when it's very slick.

Edit: Actually, with all the guns & ammo in the bed, the truck is anything but light. That stuff weighs a lot. :infantry:

Less ground clearance should work for you. Lower CG.

Locked in mud isn't always a good thing. You're rear-end will have more propensity to drift sideways, decreasing the handling capability. Good for getting unstuck but having an anchor wheel can be gooderer.

Load that stuff up against the tailgate to get more weight over the back axle. Or pick up a couple bags of sand and do the same.

Usually, the entire bed is filled with guns, ammo & targets.

I have to avoid sun exposure for the next week and a half or I'd hop up there and join in the fun.
