gen 1 manual trans in gen 2

I have an 05 2wd and I want to convert to 4wd with sas. I want the first gen trans and transfer case because of the manual shift 4wd. I'm not sure if gen 2 come with it. All I've seen is with a switch. I have the 2.7 now with a manual.

 

anything can be done with the proper amount of tools, time, material and money...and more money

 

man forgot i made that thread. over a year ago too. converting it is easy. just gotta get the shifters and spring thats needed. other than that just follow wyatt's write up

 

Thanx. I wasn't actually referring to a twin stcik I don't want the electronic shift on the fly. I want everything mechanical. A twin stick setup would b nice though. I have done fuelinjected conversions before so n e fab won't b an issue. I figure starting with a 2wd would b easier because there's less stuff to remove.

 

just get a fj case, you dont have to twin stick it. just leave it as is
