Anyone 'round these parts done a TRD supercharger pulley change? Being as they're pressed on they're a little more difficult than usual pulley changes. I've got some info from the webz about the removal and installation but I thought I would axe if anyone near me has done this and could give some pointers. I've got a stealth pulley (somewhere) that I've had for months now and need to make some time to get on.

I hate to do this but what's everyone's opinion of this wheel w/these tires on a Pyrite Mica Tacoma? I generally people to make up their own minds with what THEY like but I'm on the fence with these. They're not my first choice but can be had rather inexpensively and I like OEM quality. Another option is just keeping the stock 16" wheels and strapping some Duratracs on those too. Either way, I'm hoping to do something sooner rather than later. Need tires I can trust when the white stuff starts falling.

I like those wheels for sure. I've never really liked black wheels though. I just think there should be some contrast between the wheels and the tires and all black just looks washed out or something.

On the other hand, I've never been accused of being an artist or particularly fashion conscious either so......

    Do eett! Do eeettt!!

Really? Can you get some pics to help me decide?

I will for sure be running Duratracs so that's not even a consideration. Even if it means I strap them on my stock OR wheels, it's going to happen. That's been the plan since before I even got the truck and in fact I planted that seed with my buddy Steve on our way back from D.C. w/his Tacoma because he had Duratracs on his within days and the tires he replaced were nearly new and good tires too. Just weren't Duratracs.

See, that's my concern too. I had black glossy AVS wheels imported from Japan on my Supra and they looked 'heavy' to me even though they were my dream wheels on my dream (realistically attainable anyway) car. I just wish in hindsight I had taken the time to polish the lip to break up the tire from the wheel but it still was alright. Just not sure I want to get back into an all black wheel w/black tires again. I like the Anthracite ones better but think they would look weird on a Pyrite Mica truck plus they're a lot more expensive.

See.. I agree with you (and by the transitive property... myself :D ) on that one but I can't seem to get anyone to agree with me. For the longest now I've been looking for a deal on those wheels because I think they would look sick as shit on a PM truck. When I showed them to my wife and a few close buddies they all say they didn't like them. The people that gave reasons said that they wheel looked 'small' and while I can see that I also kind of like it. On sports cars and sporty sedans I love the giant wheel wrapped in a rubber band of a tire look. On 4x4 trucks I like all tire and smaller wheels and I guess it's just me because nobody seems to like those bronze TX Pro wheels I like. I can also get the black ones for like $50 less than the TX wheels which equals about $200 total. Not the end of the world considering the price tag on a set of wheels & tires (unless I get the Sean deal ;) ) but saving money is always appealing to me. The black ones are the same dimensions as the TX Pro ones and it has a little bit better offset than the stock wheel (I think) and when i show the same people who poo poo'd the TX Pro wheels they all like them. Go figure. I guess I'm just looking to see what the community consensus is on these to help talk me into it and then hope I don't regret if I go this route later.

BTW, these are the bronze TX Pro wheels on a PM truck to give you an idea.

That's not the best picture. There was one with larger Duratracs and a better angle and it looks pretty bad ass. I have to admit that hearing more people say my idea is stupid is helping me to lean towards saving money. :D
