Both effortless. If you pull the flipper hard enough, you don't have to flick your wrist at all. The knife just opens when you overcome the detent.

 

I'm am jealous of your knife collection. Haha

 

Ive read a lot of complaints that the detent is too strong on the zt56x. I prefer the strong detent on my zt561. I'd rather have it be a little firm to open, than open accidentally in my pocket

 

I agree. I like them to stay closed too.

 

Have a any of you seen the hard use test on knives??? The whole spine whacking thing is completely useless... Not to mention trying to shave down aluminum lol... But that's just me...

 

Before I bought the para 2, I saw a vid on you tube where they were batoning it to cut through a pretty thick tree. Apparently it did well, but I would never baton a folding knife unless it was a real emergency. Especially such a lightweight knife like the spyderco.
When I go hiking, I usually carry a fixed blade in my pack and a folder in my pocket. Plus I always keep a united m48 apocalypse tomahawk in my truck

Those things are so fricken cheap and awesome! I must've brought in over 20 and they all sold like hotcakes! People are still asking me to bring in more. You just chuck it at a block of wood or a dead tree and it'll stick every time as long as its pretty solid. But you have to throw it like you mean it
A buddy that bought one from me threw his hawk at a broken refrigerator on the side of the road and buried it. it actually went all the way into the interior space

I love the sebes... Such a simple and well built blade...did you grind that blade into a Tanto??

 

I believe there were a few of the tanto sebenza a made, don't know how many though. I love my sebenza, at this point in time the only thing that could get me to trade it would be a really nice AR (no where near equal value) or an insingo blade sebenza

It's the blue tang titanium dive knife. I have yet to use it diving, but out of water it seems great! Reviews on it seem mixed, but I got it cheap enough I am not too concerned. Aparently the xs scuba titanium dive knife is really good. I'll test this one out and let you know!
