Thanks guys for the advice, save me some money by not buying a aal. I will prob just try the 2 oem and 2 ford springs out then see if I need another or not. Jake, your setup sounds a lot like what I'm trying to achieve. I bought a couple bumps off Amazon, energy suspension I think. If those don't work I'll probably try the wheelers ones out, don't have the cash to buy hydros atm.

Door ding , thanks for the complement. Its run pretty good the few times ive taken it on trails. Just have a few more things to finish up and it will be close to perfect.

Douglas, I talked to my uncle and he said he'd help me refurb both of my packs, you think you could give Internet advice?
I'm looking for 1-2" of lift for my 95, SUA, leafs are flat, possibly a little negative arch,
And I'm looking for 1.5-2" of lift for my 03, SOA, I'm gonna be hauling my quad around in this truck so the leafs need to be able to handle it (roughly 400 lbs dry weight), but I still want it to ride good.

I'm gonna be going by the junkyards in the next few weeks looking for the right springs, and I can get pics of the leafs on both trucks when I get home Tuesday.

Anyone looking to do this in the Phx area I have 2 pair of leafs sitting in my garage that I will donate to a great cause. Leafs came of a mid 70's Chevy.
And if your reading this and dont know if you should do it or not just do it! 100x's better than my stock pack with aal.
    Let me know

I think this is just strictly Doug's deal on this thread, friend. I'm sure if you asked he would help you do it yourself...

So I have been workin on the lift this wknd I added the two chevy leafs to mine and got what seems to be a huge amount of lift. Seems really stiff too I might take the lower spring back out and see what happens2yzuraru_dcc8032791b8d85ae6a765e6c5ef9404ce378446.jpgysa5a9er_05c3daff5867e74a3b5649be467f8dc5b7a90b54.jpgzutyqade_64b4d9e54515286e896528d1338d02edf649ccaf.jpguse2ene7_82c8ceab056bda5bc11d5a759fbbbc3927a13d84.jpgeruda2y2_73dfa166c5f5b07f7fd833b3a0382e8a62cb4c5a.jpgyhetuqaz_cec0f38255f560c51b12cf3faeb6a01bb3917d4f.jpg

Wow Andy, you def . got some ARC out of those but actually looks pretty Damned good, a suggestion tho'.. looks like you need to cut about another inch off each end of the upper donor & I'd take 1.5" off each end of the bottom donor, this should drop you down a little & calm the springs down some too...

Your dog ears look good !!

No worries, looks great !! Heres an idea that'll probably work.. just flip the carrier bearing over & bolt up if you've done the drop with no results & do this before the shims,,, U bolts good & tight ??

Best thread I've seen in a while. After 165k on a 2000 prerunner with a camper shell, my I even have a bro lean with stock front IFS. About to add 5100s and 881's for a SUPER bro lean. Anyways, wondering if my leafs are worth rebuilding. Doug, have any input on these???

Thanks again for all the help.
