Its hard to locate by sound but when I'm on the gas there's a rattle sound coming from what seems to be the passenger side rear in my '06 4banger manual. Its not a rotational issue because it stops if I disengage the clutch while at speed. It must be drive-line related but sounds too external to be in the rear differential. Any ideas?

Parking brake line, going over top of crossmember. It has a chafe spring over it and it's rattling against the crossmember. Might be it. Mine was doing it. I just bent the clamp up a little.

Damn, you were close. It was where the brake line goes over the frame but the sounds was from an outta shape heat foil that the brake line had bumped and pushed up against the body. Apparently when I accelerated the frame caused the foil to flex and rattle against the body making the tinny sound I was hearing. Thanks for getting my eyes and ears to the right area.
