    They are doing the blame game. Their theory is that because I put a second top plate on the walls of the 12/12 roof I raised it causing the dormer roof to be 1" lower then the main roof... if I had built the walls without a second top plate, I would have had other issues with fitment. As it sends I have 5/8-1" of gap along the trusses on the one side at the girder, it would have gotten worse if I did as they said
    You should see my coworker... He's not allowed to cut his beard or hair for another year for a duck dynasty wedding

    Building code, otherwise I would have to ensure every wall stud lined up exactly with the truss above and then add extra bracing and supports to tie everything together. Too much work for what it is. Not to mention my plans call for 8'-1" walls lol

    Lots of cranberry juice and water. Most times you can just flush it out of your system, but if it gets worse then you need antibiotics :(

    Ewww...those are no fun. I was surprised I made it through my trip last weekend without one!
    Cranberry juice, lots of water and some azithromicin :thumbsup:

    But....if you had a 2nd plate wouldn't the difference have been 1-1/2" and not 1"?
