Hey I'm new here to this site but been around forever just been out of wheeling for 5 years. I have a new rig and am up for getting out. I'd be able to get out Sunday to go poke around. Although I do believe as other have stated that the gate is locked.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it was melted from welding on the sliders... Because two days after I got them welded was the first time I had used my locker after getting them welded and that was when it wouldn't disengage.

I guess I'm basically just going to cut each one individually and replace that section of wiring. Not hard but a very long process! But if it fixes my issues then awesome! I'm just glad it didn't cause a fire...

Plugged in the the rear locker switch with the correct lighting scheme:

    IMG_5563_zps8a770d8d_53efd32990dc1c625a624f5bf1bc6e64995832a3.jpg

And found the Carling 2 slot switch panel fits the clock hole good enough.

Hopefully, Scott can help me get the light switches wired up soon.

May see about putting in a 3 slot where the locker switches are. Would require ordering a new dash insert since I enlarged the hole where the clutch cancel switch used to be.

Good work, looks nice and clean!

I trimmed the stock skid and installed BAMF LCA skids that I purchased from another member recently. I need to get some decent IFS and underbelly skids soon.

It needs work. I have some switch panels for the left hand side that will tidy things up nicely. Just need to pull the damn trim piece and work on it with a dremel.

    Yes. Yes, you do. :)

Well, good progress thus far at least!

Skids will be soon, trying to pace myself a little bit with a wedding coming up in 2 months. Had to spend extra cash on the steps as the first piece of the build in order to do the rest; my fiance is 5' tall on a good day and she wanted steps if a lift was installed so that was the compromise. Hoping to replace them with sliders and maybe she won't notice

    Made some templates:

    IMG_5566_zps032c8137_36b42fa07fb8eaa298dcba0f5bff32f8fb93098e.jpg

Now just have to get the gumption to take things back apart and do some cutting.

Taking a dremel to any interior plastic always takes some guts, but your templates should make for a fairly easy project.

Going to see if the depth collar can be rigged up where I can do it on the dash instead of taking it all apart.

I wish I had a mini light saber.
