Looking forward to eventually being able to make a meet/wheel..

Think a RTT is next on the list.. Maybe a supercharger.

Hoping to make an expo trip out to Colorado, Ouray - Imogene Pass - kind of sucks, because I won't have time until middle of October. Everything's probably going to be impassable by then.

wild idea here Will...bring your new toys to the BBQ meet, and we can install them there. i am pretty sure all of us like to play with new toys, even if it is putting them on somebody else's truck.

Also, since nobody else will make a decision, I will do it. BBQ meet at my house Sunday Aug 18. PM me for an address. Show up around 11. From Auburn/Tacoma/anywhere down that way it is about an hour and 15 to hour and a half drive. From Mount Vernon area (Forster), more like 40-45 min.

if anybody else has anything to install, bring it. i don't have a welder, but I do have all the basic hand tools, and 4 heavy duty ramps (2@ 7", 2@13").

    Next questions:

Who is coming? What will you be bringing, both for install and food/drink consumption. Need plates, cups, silverware (only the finest plastic here), food.

I will supply some beer. What is your favorite style of beer? (pale, lager, IPA, amber, red, porter, stout)

    1. you can practice backing your trailer through my turn around while the others drool over it.
    2. you can camp out on my property, and there are areas where i would never know you were even there.
    3. just curious, why the pintle hitch compared to a ball mount?
    4. at my house, i don't have the best of covered areas in case it rains other than going inside the house. that just means I have to get the fire going really hot to evaporate the rain around us before it makes it down to us.

Interesting. How old are your BJs? How much for new ones? How long was the tear in the boot there? You'll need to pull that boot back and inspect. It might be OK. You'll have to weigh your options with the answers to questions like these. I like how the write-up said to rotate the springs a little to clear.

    I need to check mine...

Big difference. If the bj looks good, then just relube and new boot. Then rotate the springs.

Would a BBQ/install meet be better for everybody on Aug 24 or 25th?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I'm out for this weekend too. Wife has decided that we need to stay home since we haven't had a weekend to ourselves for 2 months.

I have been meaning to make it to a meet and would be down soon but I've been working on remodeling our house constantly. I am looking to order a Mid travel soon (Kings if I sell some equipment, Icons if not) and would probably need help installing it.
