Finally got the time to trim the stock skid plate and install the BAMF LCA skids that I bought from another member.

Just put in my Afe Stage 2 cold air intake and my stainless steel step bars. Truck looks and sounds awesome. The bolt holes for the step bar brackets were pretty rusted though. Had to use lots of extra washers, lol

Like the subject said; Hand washed, towel dried, wax applied then wiped it down, yesterday. Took 4 solid hours. I even wax the door pillars inside and out! Today I cleaned the interior and vacuumed the carpet, floor liners, mats. Still using the NextGen Tech wax. About out, got to find some more of this stuff. It works great on firearms too. Those that get handled but not used a lot, wax those puppies. Museums do to keep fingerprint corrosion off of them and to protect the metal. Using the wax allows things to be handled without the greasy, oily feeling yet the firearm is still protected from rust and corrosion. :)

Removed the TRD Sport Decals from the sides of the bed of my 2013 DBL Cab. Wanted to do it while they were still "new" and pliable. Looks much cleaner and won't be a peeling/cracking issue down the road.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

many places having something to stop that stupid chime for no seat belt comes in handy.

in and out work like loading and unloading in a field when you need to get in drive ten feet get out. trapping, get in drive half mile at low low speeds in winter gear, get out. getting in and out to park the trailers in line in my driveway by myself, the boat ramp as he mentioned, the lumber yard/home improvement store when you drive from pile to pile loading the truck... getting in and out to position the truck for lighting as the recovery operation changes..

Installed my Hellwig rear sway bar. The written instructions were about useless but the picture instructions were good and helpful.

Finally began prep work for painting some plastics under the hood. Got the engine cover painted up, just needs a good clear coat. Then im going to do the CAI tube, then the TRD lettering on the airbox. Still debating doing all the reservoir caps to match. Black and Lime green baby!

built a custom intake out of parts I've been collecting at work. total cost, $20, $15 AFM adapter, $5 worth of vacuum has and a small plastic adapter/reducer for the fuel pressure regulator hose

butt dyno feels like there's a little more get-up, but that might be because I took the mud terrains off it and put the smaller road wheels on it yesterday, lol. one thing's for sure, it's LOUD at wide open throttle! I like it :D

    WP_20130811_003_ea5ca94c58079a1b3a89e229ceca8b22d567e81d.jpg

pile of stock parts :p looking through the stock airbox, it's like a maze in there! the new intake has GOT to flow better than it did... once I run it for a while and make sure there are no bugs and everything seems reliable enough to be permanent, I'll trim the engine cover some so I can reinstall it

    WP_20130811_002_7c878f8b03360dadd635f41deea638b0d620f8bd.jpg

took the old-man bug deflector off the hood while I had it up; something I've been meaning to do for a while now actually

then lastly, I used some left over Plasti-Dip from yesterday's wheel project and blacked out the badges today :)

Found out I have 2 screws on my front passenger tire and one on my rear passenger tire of my 4 month old truck. The screws are not on the wall, they are right in the middle. Will the shop repair the front tire considering there are two screws?

Tire manufacturers generally are okay with no more than 3 plugs, and no more than one per quadrant.
So the manufacturers would be okay with 2 as long as they are more than 90 degrees apart, but there's no telling how the shop will handle it, they may refuse to do 2.

Played tag with a Pepsi truck, except I didn't know I was playing, and I really didn't want to play in the first place.

Yeah, I know, and the cop implied that tag-backs would be a felony.
