I've been searching on various ways to hard wire my gps and figured out how to properly use the add a circuit. My question is, can you wire two devices into the same add a circuit? I want to wire in my gps (I got a new USB adapter off Amazon with the wired ends) and then add a blank cigarette adapter so I can plug in an ultra gauge when I get one.

If I can add two devices to one fuse, should I tap into the ACC fuse or should I put it into one of my blank spaces (one that only comes on with the ignition).

Lastly, will a 7.5 fuse work or will 10 be better for two devices?

I attached a picture of my blank fuse spots if anyone knows which one or ones only comes on with the ignition. If more than one blank comes on with the ignition only I may as well use seperate lines.

    Thanks for any help!

I did something similar but I just used two separate add a fuses in different locations. I didn't want to overload a fuse location.

1st off you should match your fuse size to your wire size. I would do a voltage check on the empty spaces in the fuse block to see which ones are ignition on/off as you wont want to have to toggle switch em, I know that some of those empty spots in mine have no power. Lastly I would use two "add a fuses" in place of running off just one JMO..

Do you remember which spots you used in your fuse box or did you use the one under the hood or add a new one?

I'm going to use 14 gauge wire.

Ultra gauge doesn't need a 12v outlet. It gets its power straight from the OBD II port

    That's awesome.

I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to my original question. At some point I want a dash DVR which needs a cig adapter.

Add a circuits are not designed to power devices. They are designed as a low current source to trigger a relay or power something super tiny like a gps or radar detector. Anything more (like a dvr) should NOT be powered off an add a circuit. You can use them to add an additional 12v outlet but thats should only charge small devices like a phone. If you want to start adding multiple things, look into adding a fuse box. I have over a dozen accessories which require the use of power and not a single add a fuse and nothing connected to my battery except 1 main cable for my fuse box. Add a circuits are simple light super solutions only
