    New X-bars and Racks!

I picked up some Yakima Whispbar racks for me skis but found they double nicely for my fishing rods. I should be able to get 6 of my Surf rods in there no worries. This should be nice for one: to keep them out of the bed, and also being able to lock them up for quick trips into a store, plus allowing for full bed use...
I also should be able to slide my kayak up on them no problem at all with the 6' bed that leaves 3' of over hang which I will just flag.
Not in their final location (need to adjust some) but you can get the idea from the pics...

Well, was long overdo maintenance day for the old truck:
grease all 18 zerks, change rear diff oil, change engine oil, and change the crawler and TC oil.....Success!!! :burnrubber:

While I was at it I had a set of Hella's that I purchased a long time ago but never installed so I though what the hell. I think I'm gonna swap out the lamps for some Silver Stars the K is a bit on the yellow side.

Other than pure aesthetics and durability, what is the added benefit of the TC LCA? I have gone back and forth on buying these, and other than the new design which is supposed to give more ground clearance, what is the benefit?

Uni-balls like the uppers Skid plate, like u said durability not sure of any other benefits? I know I like them but sorta a hard pill to swallow with the price. these might be up for sale in the near future, but already promised to a CO member. If he turns out not wanting them I will let you know.;)
