I grew up in Ashland, 11 miles south of Medford. Beautiful country down there for sure. A few words of advice if I may.... Depending on where your working consider looking for a place in Phoenix or Talent. Both a bit cheaper, not as much as they used to be though. Phoenix and Talent, as well as Ashland are all speed traps. The whole towns, do the speed limit. Ashland is tourist Mecca during the summer when Shakespeare plays are going on, stay out of downtown, it's a nuthouse with all the Californians there during the season. Lithia park in Ashland is beautiful year round. Check out Emigrant lake just outside Ashland, good swimming and boating. Mt. Ashland is a great steep mountain during the winter, during the summer drive up past the lodge and drive the road to the top of the bowl and watch the sunset, works every time ;). Out past Jacksonville, just west of Medford, is a great motorcycle OHV area, johns peak. Out further past jville is the applegate, great swimming and camping. Past emigrant lake and up the hiway from Ashland is lake of the woods, again good camping and boating.

Wish I had good advice on wheeling areas down there but we always poached stuff back then and I was more into single track for the motorcycle.

It really is a beautiful valley, enjoy it and don't stress the fact there may be some methheads, they're everywhere, not just Medford. Way more crime and BS up here for sure.

Tim from Elite Fab or Eric from Relentless Fab should have some advice. I didn't have a worthy vehicle back when I was down that way, so I only went so far.

good camping near the Klamath gun club in Keno/John C Boyle Reservoir
Dead Indian Highway is great for a bike

any of you guys have ideas on where I can get replacement bushings and ball joints for light racing ucas? mine are shot and I need to see if its going to be cheaper to just buy new arms

EDIT: nevermind, . Now I just gotta figure out what to do about getting the bushings done.

I'd call LR and talk to them. How are you ball joints already shot?

The boot is torn. I'm not sure if the whole BJ is bad or not. I don't know how to check other than replacing the bushings, re-mounting everything and then checking for excessive play in the joints. If there's an easier way, lay it on me.

Ill be running 37's after wear out my 35's as I just got them a few months back. The rear will be left leaf sprung as I use it for towing a boat.
