Been a busy week for the taco.

Had some nice weather and some time on monday... so I sprayed my roof. Don't have any before pics but it was in BAD shape when I bought the truck. Little scratches all over and some places where the paint was really shiny and some where it was really dull. My main concern was rust... so, I bedlinered it! used rustoliem. Probably going to put another coat or two on eventually.

Not a great quality pic, but the roof turned out great! Super durable too. Won't be getting pinstriped on the trail anymore :)

Moving on to the weekend.. hosted a mod day. Got my rear shocks and lightbar thrown on! Also got another member's satoshi done, lights mounted, and compass fixed and another member's rear blocks removed and AAL in. Had a lot of fun and got a lot of work done. Rigs are looking great!

    Pics!

Fox Shocks  they ride nice!!! So much better than my stock shock/dakar combo. (I know... stupid. but I had a good deal on the Dakars a few months back and was planning to upgrade the shocks soon anyway... figured if I ruined the stock shocks, nothing would be lost anyway) Also, the weird rattle when I started moving the truck seems to have disappeared with the arrival of the new shocks :D

Light bar mount. Just used some pre-cut angle and ground it to fit. Pretty solid!

    Done!

And some misc pics of the work!

This will be the third time I have done leafs... I think I am almost an expert now ;) This time, we used a bottle jack to get the leafs in position as opposed to two guys trying to muscle it in. Was WAY faster and easier. who whoulda thought?

Had a mod day and got my suspension done :D Also got a u joint switched out and new u bolts on another members truck done :D

Suspension install took about 4 hours total. With a lunch break in the middle. Cranking the shocks up to adjust... took about 2. haha. I took my time about it for sure.

anywayyy.... my beautiful shiny awesome foxes and total chaos :D

    anddd alignment specs!

the shocks are currently cranked up to about 2.25" thread showing. Not sure exactlyyy now much lift I have since I didnt get the truck stock. But I have a little under an inch more than I had with the revtecs. I am sitting a little higher in the rear than the front still. Will get exact measurements here in a bit :)

Edit: Fender to hub measurements: Back pass 25.75, back driver 25.5, front pass 24.75, front driver 24.5. Guess I got that taco lean from the gas tank....
