REALLY slow day at work today...

Watching the Alabama/La State game from 2012 on YouTube. AJ just ran in a TD right at the end of the first half.

I remember damn-near punching a hole in my ceiling jumping up when he did that.

Just got to the screen pass to Yeldon to win the game. La State shut Bama down in the second half, except for the final drive. The final drive and the final Bama play were amazing.

Watch the whole final drive, if you want...

Every week day, anyway. I don't often visit the site over the weekend, so sometimes I have to make up a little.

Bleacher Report Power Rankings for 125 college football stadiums.

I know this isn't an SEC thread, but I'm an SEC guy, so here's where the SEC stadiums ended up:

    Alabama - #1
    Florida - #4
    UGA - #6
    La State - #8
    auburn - #10
    Arkansas - #11
    TAMU - #16
    Tennessee - #19
    Ole Miss - #22
    So. Carolina - #34
    Vandy - #50
    Kentucky - #65
    Mississippi State - #68
    Missouri - #80

    Other Notables:
Clemson came in at #2, Texas is #14, Oregon is #18

Legion Field, right here in Birmingham, AL, is home to the UAB Blazers. It once was the site of most Alabama games, all Iron Bowls, and even some of the 1996 Olympic soccer matches. It's turned into quite the dump since it's heyday.... one of the upper decks was even condemned and torn down. Also, it's in a really bad area of town.

Yet somehow... at #123 of 125, there are still two stadiums ranked below it!

I don't know what they're basing this on, but I'm surprised we're ahead of La State. I know they have a louder stadium/fans than we do. I would love for out fans to give them a run though.

Hopefully they'll update that listing before next season when our renovation is done. It's looking great so far, I just wish it was finished by now.

It's more than just noise and capacity... and it's clearly not scientific. I think that better teams have better chances at a high ranking b/c the better you are, the better your attendance, the louder the stadium, etc.

If you'd done the same ranking in 2002, BDS would probably be somewhere in the 20s.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Not necessarily. Autzen stadium is considered one of the loudest in the nation with 1/2 the capacity of the largest. Sounds easily reach 130+ decibels at field level mainly due to the way the stadium was built.

It has to be all factors together honestly. Because Autzen is one of the most amazing stadiums to actually go watch a game in.
