    I'm going to talk to a surgeon next summer. More than likely I will need surgery (90% chance). However I may be able to have him repair it as best he can which would buy me some time. Eventually I will need a replacement valve and that means I have 2 choices. 1) pigs valve, would mean I would need surgery every 5 years but I could live a somewhat normal life, 2) Artificial valve, which would mean I would be on a blood thinner the rest of my life and my diet and physical activity would be changed.

    We are hoping to put me on a blood thinner later rather than sooner. So I will need surgery its just figuring out which procedure would be right for me at the time.
