    It's weird because I'm loaded down with the old tires in the bed, and I still have a slight rake from back to front. I guess the DAKARS are working

    Just a quick tip when you use your hi lift try to keep it at an open door. If for some reason it were to slip out, which they tend to do a lot, it will save your body panels from being destroyed

    What size? Might have not been a legitimate Hi-Lift either.

    Haha thanks! I almost did that too, but figured it wouldn't. I will do that from now on though. After looking at the pic I thought about the fact that it could slip and bust out my window at any second. It sucked trying to lift it to that point and initially lowering it, my 120 lb self can barely handle it!

    No problem hi lifts can be very sketchy I watched one slip out on a trail before luckily no one was injured and nothing was damaged. It's the little things that make it feel a little safer

    Maybe you can use a thick piece of rubber or something to put between the body in case of an accidental slip?

    Wouldn't really help the force of the hi lift would still dent the crap out of the truck. The hi lift with the weight of the truck on it has the force to puncture through the side if it slips, so rubber wouldn't really help to much. It might help if it slipped with barely any weight on but more than likely it will slip with the trucks weight on it
