    Too many to list now.
Seems daunting but in reality, if you follow the instructions and take your time it's one of the simplest mods you'll do.

While we're somewhat on the topic, is it just me or did Toyota stop making the factory smoked chrome headlights in the 2012+ TRD models? They seem like they've gone back to the bright chrome as found in the older 05-08 trucks.

I personally loved the look of the 09-11 TRD smoked headlights, and they always seem like a highly sought after item whenever a set pops up for sale on the marketplace here.

Anybody know why they would stop making the smoked chrome in 2012?

So that they can start making them again in a year or two to distinguish newer models from the 12-13 crowd.

It's not hard just intimidating the first time. I've been doing it since 2005 and the hardest part is convincing yourself to put them in the oven.

    First set I did

    Last set that I did

The only real hard part (aside from putting them in the oven) is pulling the lens off the housing. You have approx. 1 min. to get it off. Everything after that is simple. Pull the bezel out, prep, paint, put it back in, and reseal the light.

I've got a extra set of lights sitting in my office floor right now just waiting to be "Retro-ed" but my wife's $2600 Bon Jovi tickets got in the way of that

    Patiently waiting

That's pretty much what mine are sitting in my office floor. They are Anzo lights and while not bad the light pattern is no where near as good as the factory that is why I'm going to Retro those. If something happens I still have my good BHLM factory lights to fall back on.

I've got an urge to do the same thing, so I'd like to see how the retros come out. Keep us in the loop on your upgrade, and good luck!

They aren't bad lights but they put out 2 distinct light patterns rather than the stock "flood" pattern. They will be perfect for a retro but I wouldn't buy them for your head lights. You won't be happy with the pattern. Nothing (except retros) match the factory head lights.
