I remember when you explained why Tonks are called that. It makes me chuckle just thinking about it.

    oh gosh! 6pm - 6am is terrible
i work 10pm - 6am, and, if i play it right, i usually can do all the evening/night stuff that i'd otherwise do, before going into work
so, all i'm missing is the mid-day stuff; but, most normal humans are working then anyhow

I would love to do 10pm to 6am.

Although having at least three days a week off is nice.

My company rotates every quarter, last week was actually my switch week. I used to work Thursday - Sat, every other sunday.

This shift is especially nice during the summer
the sun wasn't going down till a little after 9pm; so, i still got some light before work
and for the past month or so, the sun was coming up a little after 4
so, by the time i got off: the sun was in full shine
not now... :( but, still close enough

    Nope, I wish!

We had some layoffs roughly a year or so ago. I was lucky enought to keep my job but got knocked back to low man on the totem pole. I had a sweet schedule before! But in a matter of minutes, my social life was killed, I had to quit playing hockey because I couldnt make the night/weekend games and I became nocturnal. It sucks!

Seriously unfortunate, but like you said, you still have a source of income!
