Yesterday I tried to fit some 35s...


15" rims won't fit the front unfortunately, looks good though.

 

my 2008 was access cab 4cyl 4x4 5spd, towed much more than that regularily with no problems other that terrible gas mileage and limited to slow (not enough power to do better than 65) usually 55 and no factory tow package (im not sure there is one) i had the ebay currie reciever and tailight patch in trailer wiring

 

i tried that awhile back. spacers didnt work like i was hoping either. most 16 inch rims have issues as well depending on how they are balanced

Traded my 35 trail grapplers for 35 mud grapplers yesterday..only pics ive got right now

 

i have 16's as well, but many 16'2 depending on the spacing and contruction have very little clearance on the front brakes.. my fj trail team wheels are trd 16's and walmart put the internal sticky weights in, had to go have them rebalanced after the brake caliper took them off

 

I've highlighted the problem above, hahaha.

 

went from the worst to a little better nitto makes great car tires i dont know what they are thinking with truck tires... they remind me of a few super swampers of the day all show and worse than stock tires. (ssr, thornbirds)

the stock tires were suprisingly better in every way than those worthless nitto all terrains 285 bs tires.

 

i couldnt agree more. but they want half the money of the other local shops, and they offer "lifetime" so even if it takes them a few tries (more often then not it does) it saves me $$$

 

Lol im a huge nitto fan..even have my bedside decals made with there logo...the trail grapplers were a great tire but I wanted that noise again

 

A lifetime of fuckups is worth more than a quality job done right one time?

bought all crush washers and 6 quarts of 75w90 gear oil.

Plans today... - change front, rear, and transfer case oil
- wash truck
- clean interior
- drink congratulatory beer

 

thats one big sticker...bet that was fun getting the bubbles out.

no... its not. just trying to justify it.. lol the truth be told it was 8 and walmart was the only place open thats what i had to tell myself to take it there. unfurtunately there are two tire shops here and both have done equally as bad in the past.
