Funny how you were saying the other day that you didn't want a mustache on the front of your brothers 4runner and now you made one for your truck. I personally think it looks sweet already, I want more!

You must really enjoy doing those ridiculously crazy miter cuts [IMG], don't you? The bumper looks sick though.

Yeah i really do they look so much better that way they are a pain in the ass though. Just these 4 tubes took 5 hours to complete. Granted i was designing as i went just winging it :D

I was thinking about it I'm going to sketch out a few different things to see if i like it. I know i want a center hoop I'm just not sure if i want to do a full wrap.

Just a suggestion from an ameture artists point of view. You have a nice downward flow of lines where the tube meets the center. If you do a center loop the continuing line flow will creat an X at that point rather than flow with it.

Maybe you can come up with something that flows in from the outter hoops or that bends smoothly out from the center one and still looks good. Just what I saw may be hard to get the "flow" out of with a top hoop.

    .
IDK, a center hoop might look kinda add-on-ish at this point, i'm not seeing how it would look good

Yeah I'm right there with you It would be a hell of a tube to make it flow. With about 6 bends for just the center hoop with a hell of a miter cut/grind for the connection points. I'll be drawing it out first DOM is not cheap and I wasted about 2' on the sides trying different things.

Good thing your not designing it :p Don't think just a 2 bend hoop this one would flow right out of the top tubes. Pain in the ass YES! bad ass maybe

Haha Simply out of curiosity I just drew up your truck in a quick sketch and was going to play with some lines . . . Then I was like who am I kidding. Jerry likes things his way, his work, his truck. ha
