What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I can say this, the Texas plates look alot better than the last ones with all the red, blue on them. I have to get my new tag this month and hope tey will give me new plates. The black and white looks a whole lot cleaner.

 

I know. I have a blue sea fuse block to clean some of that up but am just too lazy to put it in lol.

I'm not from Cali, just been living overseas (military) for the last 3 years and I finally got home, got a Tacoma, and got my Texas plates. It's a good day.

 

Agreed. Especially since my truck is white anyway; some people are complaining about the new plates being too plain but it suits me just fine.

used mine to transport weeds to the sandy spot in my yard. Idiots who lived here before put down a but ton of sand and gravel all over one side of the back yard. Im trying to just put all of my light yard waste there to try and create a layer of compost.

 

Finally got me e-locker working again and ordered the union and breather to do the diff breather mod.

Well thats including drink breaks every so often rust and a couple breaks to mess with my brother

EDIT: I also replaced the tie rods, they were perfectly fine just needed boots but couldnt buy just the boots

 

Probably would have taken me longer. I seem to be an idiot when it comes to figuring out how to remove parts, even with how-to's on it haha

 

I Used directions from a honda civic to get an idea on how to do mine I just kinda started tearing everything apart

 

You use loctite on the 4 bolts? I hope so!

 

I figured out how to take when off when I had to take my spindle off when I had to get bearings replaced also had them put in new upper ball joint since we couldn't it out of spindle had to take control arm and all with it. I learnt how to change cv axle from pictures and a friend on phone walking me thru it

 

Question y didn't u just google how to do it
