    Here is the difference from 35x12.50R18 to 295/70R18

    295/70R18
    Diameter: 34.26" Width: 11.61" Sidewall Height 8.13"

    35/12.50R18
    Diameter: 35.03" Width: 12.52" Sidewall Height 8.51"

    Not enough of a difference to significantly impact gas mileage IMO. Also some tires have larger treads/more variation of sizes so those measurements are not exact. You would be better off just finding a lighter weight/load range 35" tire or stepping down to 33's.

    My 35x12.50 Trail Grappler w/ 18x9 XD Monster wheels weigh in at 120 a piece. I average about 14-17MPG according to my UltraGuage. Usually around 14-15 around town.

    Great info. If you want a lighter 34ish mudd terrain tire get some BFG KM2s. Even though they say 35s they are closer to a 34. And weigh 10lbs lighter per tire than most 35in mudd terrains

    So I got my lift and everything done. Looks sick and rides great!! Love the rough country lift but I got 17" addicts with 4.5" BS. We called rough country to clarify those wheels would work with my truck and he said it would, they've had a 16" wheel on my truck. But whenever I take a sharp turn, my traction control freaks out. What's goin on??

    Mine was so bad it deactivated my vsc and traction control. .take it to deaker and request a 0 calibration on your yaw sensor...just had mine done

    Just tell them I need my YAW recalibrated? And how much did it cost you? It sucks taking a sharp corner, even extreemly slow, and my traction control freaks out.

    That is for sure or your Tranny will hate you. Plus you are going to be wheeling very slow burning up clutches.

    Get this figured out yet?

    Kind of strange, mine has only done it twice in 1 year. Both times, the tires broke traction & spun while I was taking a turn.....dirt roads.
