I told Mike about this but I thought you guys might enjoy it as well. So I was just going for a run around my neighborhood and an Owl flew overhead really close to me and landed in a tree about 10 feet ahead next to the sidewalk. I thought oh that was cool, look at the big ass owl. So I keep going and run past it. All of a sudden this freaking thing fly's by and claws me in the back of the head.....hard.... and then fly's to the next tree by the sidewalk and just looked at me. I was in shock, this huge owl just attacked me in the back of the head lol. It didn't get me good enough to make me bleed but it was an interesting experience.

Already back on the road! Heading back to civilization. Eating breakfast then driving for 7 hours or so. Should be a fun day.

Where should buy tires from?

 

You have a discount over there in Lakeland, they seem to have pretty good prices.

 

Discount tire, 4 wheel parts when they have sales, tirerack. 4 wheel parts price match so id try there

 

I bought my last set off tire rack. Came out cheaper than discount tire with everything.

<===Getting mine from 4 Wheel Parts in a couple of weeks. They have the best prices for Swampers I've found.

The last set I got for the F250 came from the Tirerack. They definitely beat the local places even with shipping. The downside is that you'll probably have to put them on the truck yourself (not that big a deal, but 100 lb tires with 8 lug rims, that have to be torqued to 140 ft-lbs, in the heat kinda sucks). I know they have arrangements with local shops to do the install or deal with any issues you might have, but I'm not sure how that impacts the price. I'd have stuck with them if they sold Swampers and steel wheels...although considering I might have to change my choice of tire if the fitment doesn't look tenable, it's probably better that I'm dealing with the local 4 Wheel Parts. They said they could test fit the 33x13.50 LTBs on the front to make sure I won't have extreme clearance issues that a little minor fender trimming won't take care of.
