Replaced OEM headlights with TYC replacements from Amazon, $30-something bucks a piece. To my surprise they included bulbs.

Broke a bunch of clips that hold the grille onto the truck. Broke a tab on the grille. Broke a tab on my corner lamp. Who doesn't love the sounds of 11 year old weathered brittle plastic snapping in the morning. :D

Replaced B1S1 A/F ratio sensor ("oxygen sensor".)

Not too bad, and I'm prone to breaking the plastic pieces pretty easily. It definitely doesn't feel like you're doing it right when you have to yank them straight out.

I was being stupid and took them off attached to the grille. Then I tried to remove one of the corners from the grille and snap. Doesn't really matter though, because it won't be falling out any time soon.

I have a set of clears sitting on the shelf in the garage for that "just in case" moment. Figured I'd leave the "cool" set for JIC rather than OEMs. :D

Definitely miss working at the body shop now, though. Order parts in the A.M. for same day delivery. The good life... hahaha

Blew both inner cv boots today apparently.

About how long can I still drive until I get the new boots put on?

Should I just try and pack in some grease before I drive/commute each day?

I busted my boots 2 or 3 times then I finally got the wheel guy to put something better on it. He found a larger silicon boot and so far it has held up great. I would look into something like that if I were you.

Correction. Packing in more grease will do something. But that something is sling it all right back out and give you an even bigger mess to clean up. :D

I've been running a ripped boot for probably about a year and a half now lol

I'll start from the beginning... Haha :)

I was hitting a simple trail to so how much more I could do with sliders, and as I was leaving it wouldn't unlock.

Got the motor off of the axle and took it all apart except for the actual motor. Everything looked brand new inside.

Spent $60 on a voltmeter and tested the wires. Everything that was supposed to get power was getting over 12 volts.

Many people said that it could have just froze so I reassembled it and did a bunch of different methods to try to get it to work.

Took a break from it and went ahead and installed my cb and run the coax from the bed to the cab. That's when I noticed the melted wiring.

Went and spent another $60 on a soldering iron, solder, and other electrical accessories to fix the wiring harness.

Once I got that fixed, it would lock but wouldn't unlock. Took the motor apart and took out all of the gears and re-adjusted them according to many how-to's. Hooked it back up and it locked and unlocked immediately.

Glad it was just a simple wiring issue. Could have cost over $900 for a new motor, $1,000+ if the third was messed up, or a huge pain if the locker ecu was messed up!
