Hey guys,
So I purchased my truck new from Servco back in 2011 and paid for the rust prevention spray. They said I would need to get it inspected every 2 years to keep the lifetime warranty. I have since moved to Washington and called Servco about getting it inspected by a dealer here...they said it wouldn't work.

I can't find the paperwork with fine print on the rust treatment...anyone have theirs and care to tell me the details if you guys can find yours?

 

I had that option done on my 07...it turned out to be a waste of money.

I had rust developing on my frame under the back of the cab near the gas tank and Servco wouldn't do anything about it.

Long story short, they told me they will only warranty the areas they spray; the door jams, hood latch, other places here and there. Everywhere else that they don't spray, is not covered.

I ended up cleaning the rust off myself and repainting a large portion of it and still crawl underneath every 6 months for touch-ups.

Being that you moved, they might not cover it anymore because they contracted it out to a local third party for the rust prevention warranty "scam"

I'll see if I can dig up my paperwork.

 

Thanks! Yea they made it seem like a Toyota thing not a dealer specific thing.... I'm at least glad I didn't pay the $700 for scotch guarding the seats and a fancy coat of wax.

Hows it guys, I finally got my Armor from Relentless Fab, 1.5 year wait. Anybody gotten spray liner on the Island lately. I'm wanting spray liner rather than powder coat for the bumpers, since it worked so great on my Rock rails.
Anybody try Armadillo Liners in Kapolei?

 

Are you serious? Servco just did my rust prevention. I can't believe it. I should've ask you guys first before i purchased the prevention.. AIYAYAI!

I went down there when they opened nobody there except there tools called there number nobody answered, left message nobody called back. I took my front plate bumper and skids to Palamu down Nimtz. They did a good job.

 

Got the mount from pelfreybilt. Just 4 holes you will need to drill into the bed and two bolts are holding the hi lift jack in. Pretty good setup. You can see it on August 24 outing.

I know this should go in the marketplace but I figure here's better since shipping kills most good deals. Looking for a pair of factory non-led tail lamp housings. The earlier style 2nd gen and some of the 5 lug kind. Want to see if I like the look of em. Would like em in pretty good shape. I'm not a fan of chrome so I'd like to see if these would look. Would prefer not to trade but if you don't got anything else maybe can.

 

I just pulled mine off yesterday and ready to part with em

they are still in great shape, no cracks or damage and everythings intact.

So as far as my bumpers, I picked them up today from Fastnel and dropped them off at Palamu. Went to Armadillo Liner first since it is near where I work, nobody there!!! So I rolled over to Palamu and they gave me a good deal and it will be ready tomoro. I've heard nothing but good things from these guys, Ill take photos tomoro and hopefully install this weekend.

 

How did you get it shipped thru fastnel? They were saying they dont want to ship our stuff to hawaii. Example bumpers, sliders and etc.
