Ok, I have three options for the rear of my truck.

    1. Keep the bed and redo the bedcage when I cage, and reinforce the bedsides.
    2. When I cage, take the bed off and hang the bedsides and just have tube on the stock frame. (like blackhawk250?)
    3. Tube back-half.

I'll probably end up keeping my bed, but I never really use it. Of course, if I went tube, I'd need the bed all the time, just because the world is like that.

There is no reason to tube the rear end(backhalf) on a leaf sprung truck

The only reason I would do it is because I can. I like the look.
90% I'll keep my bed. All the labor will be done by me, so cost isn't really an issue. Also keeping the bed makes the bedsides line up nicely.
Anyway, just sitting here waiting for parts:)

So in swapping to SUA (defined) I have picked up an inch of taco lean. I might have had a half inch before but it is now a solid inch to inch and a half. Shocks are sitting with a hundred psi of shop air until I can get a nitrogen charge tomorrow. Have to drive 40 minutes to get to a motorcycle shop that has nitrogen.

So what's the fix to that? Crank up the front drivers side? Or play with nitrogen in the rear?

Can crank the front, add a leaf in the rear (defined sells one I plan on adding I just want to try it as is first), or fuel cell and relocate battery.

Mmmmm bypass. Have some fox 2.0 3" travel bumps that need mounting as well. Want to try with old bumps first just so I can see the difference.

Are you getting fairly new or brand new? They are up to par with the other big brands now. A few years back, not so much.

Ill get some more pics tomorrow but yager PINYOTA is pretty much done and ready to run. All wiring, plumbing, all sheetmetal work, bumper, etc is done (not in pics below.... pics tomorrow!) We are moving it to another shop on thurs (with the engine builder) so it can be fired up and tuned without us blowing it up the first run lol. He should be testing soon with some quick runs and then itll just be a few finishing touches before huckfest.

Heres how it was sitting a couple weeks ago

Trans tunnel all plated in. We added the concave to the panels to clear the seat and it actually made quite a bit more leg room

I would think you could also try taking it to a leaf spring shop to have it re arched to what you need. I'm no expert and I suppose it depends on how you use your truck but I would think any time you start adding and removing leafs you're impacting the integrity of the pack.

When we installed the 50T pack on my truck it sat real stink bug like most and we considered removing a leaf or two to level it out. We contacted a local spring shop who would have been able to rearch it for a couple hundred bucks I think.

We ended up not doing any of that because by the time the new front kit was on it sat fairly high and actually leveled out pretty nicely but again I think I would have preferred to spend the money to re arch the pack to what we needed rather than take leafs out (or add them as the case may be).

Having a hard time tracking down some 2.5x14" coilovers, and came across 3.0's for around the same price as the few sets of 2.5's I've seen. Not sure if it would be worth it to run that big of a coilovers out back of a single cab short bed.
