Yeah, heard about the plane on the news this morning. They said it landed in a residential area and killed a bunch of people in the process of crashing. Crazy shit

 

Where did you hear that? I saw on the news it landed in a road and only the people on board died.

 

Right now the news is saying that there are only two confirmed dead, pilot and co-pilot, and that everyone in the area around the crash were safely evacuated.

Only thing that would scare me away from that is if the turbo350 trans was not built hard core. those 350 transmissions break too easily.

 

Yup. Could be as reliable as a 1987 Chrysler Jeep product.

 

the 350 is super common in built rigs like that. and either way, its one good friggin start for the cost. If I didn't have mine and had a truck to tow that, i'd be all over it, especially if it was running.

 

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying the T-350 is junk by any means. When built right they are awesome. Of course some people just throw a regular T-350 in a rig and don't built it. THAT is what I was saying. I would ask of course if the T-350 had been built before I invested too much money in any rig.

 

yep! i am in the market for a new tacoma. gonna go for a 2008-2013....just haven't decided yet! i figured a 08 would be good to start off with for a new truck cause i am finding them for 20k-23k. but gonna talk to my bank first and see what options i have. yes i still have the 1st gen but hopefully mat will buy it off of me!!
