Clutch is done. Drives just like it did. Just no slip and much more vides at take off. I'm assuming from the solid motor mounts. Everything seems to be good though.

I wasn't going to resurface the fly wheel till I pulled it. It needed it. Not horribly. But we did anyways. Lucky for us we found a local shop that did it in 2 hours

Would you recommend it for a DD? Or is it really a lot different than say a stock clutch as far as engagement goes?

It's much different so far in normal driving. Much more grabby which isn't so great as I weigh a lot. So it's harder to get it going. But once I'm moving its not really any different. So far I'm happy with it. If frank was still my dd I don't think I'd love it..especially with the solid motor mounts and tranny mount. Lots more vibes now then before.

Hmmm. Do you think the longevity will be much different than stock?

Yes. It's ceramic. Will last much longer and take abuse better.

How does the clutch feel? Is it harder to push the clutch in or about the same as stock?

just to let everyone know, this tacoma guru here put the passenger side CV axle seal in backwards (then told us that was the way it was supposed to go haha) and it started to leak at the end of leg 1, causing us to rip apart half his front end and pray we find a seal in his middle of nowhere town the night before we left for leg 2.

    :p

It looks like it will fit with a little modding of the adjustment bracket. Write-up

Feels the same. But it grabs MUCH more. I found Reving it more helps take offs. In 4lo is awesome though. But I also have solid motor and tranny mounts so not sure how much that changes it.

    Very happy with it though.

    Yep sure did.

Might as well do a full damage report.

Used the living PISS out of my armor. Thank god for the diff skid(thanks Jerry) and front skid.

Sliders also very abused and bumpers took a few hits.

Big stuff is yes cv seal went in backwards so it leaked after leg 1. Fixed early next morning.

Then blew a sidewall in lander so had to swap out a tire

Then right before The Wall in Poughkeepsie glutch...lost the driver side LBJ bolts. Been driving on 3 since Tuesday as one that sheared off was an out bolt.

    All in all...epic trip.

But there was literally only one day I didn't have to take a wrench to the truck during the whole trip ha

Should with a bit of modding.
