    It'll never happen but if the Tacoma kept growing (like say the Camry and Corolla) and they made another small/mid-size Pickup it wouldn't be outside of the good ol Japanese auto manufacturer's handbook.

    That's true. 5th truck to date. 2nd tacoma in a row. Father has a Ridgeline. Its cute. Friend has the frontier and its so so. Equator is just a cookie cutter frontier with a different badge on the grill. Don't get me started on Colorados\Canyons with their I5 engines. So you are right. I have never driven any other truck. Quite the observation.
