He wouldnt have made it out without a bunch of scratches going the way we did last year, we went up yankee hill to meet the kingston peak trail. I dont know what the that beginning part of the kingston trail looks like but it was very very tight on yankee hill. Once we were on kingston i believe he would be fine all the way over and down to fall river road.

i'd say those lakes off fall river road would be a good choice for sean if he were to take the tundy up there

i still haven't run kingston so idk...but you can get to the trail other ways besides yankee hill

If you come from Rollinsville, the trail is wide without brush, I think the Tudy would be fine.

yea i was thinking about suggesting bill moore as well, but those lower switchbacks would be a pain and if you came across somebody else on the trail, it may be a headache..plus there's a few spots in the trees that can get close even in the tacomas...

but i have seen full size trucks up there before..just not as nice looking as a new tundra

sounds like the perfect day to be up there. In fact, get there early so you can hike in and get a good seat. Take pics and place bets on who will break first.

I would have room for riders.. might bring my brother but I have a double cab.

I was thinking Bill Moore since ive never been there, or if you wanted to go up Yankee Hill I usually go up there from Cumberland Gulch and its pretty wide without any serious obstacles. Also up for Chinn Lake and Fall River Reservoir if were in the Fall River Road area for Yankee Hill...

We could always do Argentine Pass again too... skip the hard water crossings on McClellan and still get to the top @ 13k feet.

    3rd is going in monday.

so if everything goes as planned, she'll be up and running again for the weekend....i'll have to take it easy on her as it'll be breaking in the new gears, but the trail to crystal lake and sunday shouldn't be too bad on the gears...

unfortunately not looking like i'll have my rtt setup by then so i'll be tenting it most likely bringing my aussie up with me...

so i'm at 80% going at this point...sent you a PM as well with my number

sean, dont take the tundy on yankee hill, you will regret it bigtime!!!!!

you should be fine going up chinns lake, loch lamond though. Yankee hill is on the other side of the pass up and over kingston anyways so you would have to come in from rollinsville which if you you are coming off i70 saint mary's alice entrance then you will be on the exiting side of kingston anyways.
