I tried all kinds of things with my 06 including machining the aftermarket wheels though I was only upsizing 1 size up on the tires.

Now this 2010 does the same thing with stock size tires. Maddening for sure! WTH?

Are you only getting the shake at high speeds? Low speeds? All speeds?

Did you bring your truck in for wheel alignment? Did you use a tire gauge to ensure your tires are properly inflated? if yes, what psi are you running on fronts/rears?

All tires are at 38 psi. Aftermarket wheels on 2010. Seller said he has balanced it twice with sticky weights and it comes and goes, just as my 06 did.

Gets started about 55 and stops about 70+. Very similar to my 06 with different tires and wheels. I will get it to the dealer and see if they can road force balance, but they were no help on the 06.

Aftermarket wheels may be the key component.

Sometimes people installed some very small spacer rings I think..... Either hub or lugcentric.... I'm on my phone, if u or nobody else has found any links about them I'll try later.

Hub centric adapter rings and a road force balance and all of your troubles will be gone.

VT- take your smartass comments elsewhere jerk wad!

Where would I find some of the suggested spacers? I'm willing to give it a shot!

I was just trying to help, there's no call for that type of attitude or behavior. If you use the search function, you'd know what size our hub is, to fit the hub bore of your aftermarket tires on.

This is the smartass comment, not a simple question that torqued you off. Chill if you want help.

Glwood-Unless you know the history, don't comment.

    Thx JimmyH for the info!

    Wouldn't you know it...their search function doesn't show a Tacoma. ???

The 'history' is displayed on this page. If there's other stuff you have with VT2011, deal with it in a pm.

I hope you get the help you want.
