Is the Tacoma frame recall still in effect?

I notices some spots underneath the truck today.
The spots aren't really bad but it is definitely frame rust.

If the spot isn't big enough will they just not worry about it?

I would be taking it to Hendrick Toyota in Concord..

    Thanks!

Best bet is to take it in and ask for a frame test to be done.

No coverage for a 95. Your out of luck with the recall.. If there's holes weld up em up quick and undercoat that thing

I have no idea about 95 tacos. but as I understand it, you had to get the frame tested between a time period (Ended a few years ago) and they would do something with that, and within 15 years of that test, you would be eligible for something. As im sure you noticed, i'm not to knowledge about this..

You can call Toyota corporate, but I am 99.99% sure they are done buying back them. Something about 15 years from the date of manufacture

They are DONE with that "Campaign" BUT how you present yourself with your dealer can go a LONG way to make EVERYONE HAPPY....:D

If nothing can be done by Toyota and you choose to keep your truck; purchase frame enforcements from a reliable source and hire a GREAT welder....many before you have had great success with this....;)

^x2 heard of lots of people getting good deals on newer trucks from the dealer because of the frame on their old one. I welded 1/4 inch plate all over the frame of my 93, still holding up quite well and it was so rusty the leaf spring hangers were moving!
