Hey Zach, thanks for the super offer and making time on your schedule. It looks like people are dropping like flies this weekend. I'm also not available Saturday and installing/wiring a security camera system and home theater system on Sunday. Next weekend is the Naches trip as Sean mentioned and the weekend after that, I'll be in Vancouver. If you're around on the weekend of the 7th, maybe we should have an end-of-the-season meet/BBQ/fire? I say that selfishly because it would fit my schedule :D

Well it seems like your worst case scenario is not all that bad  May I suggest a yet-to-be-scheduled mod day? In all seriousness, would be glad to give a hand if I'm available.

Forgot to ask, are you planning on UCAs?

A Mod Meet would be great. Yes, I am planning on either using Total Chaos UCAs or Camburg if I can find a decent deal on them. I would eventually like to go with AP Expos but would be satisfied with an AAL for the time being (until I find more expendable money).

It's really hard to come up with $2k-$3k to drop on a lift all at once. When I get that much I think of all of the other things I can do to the truck, my wifes E46 M3, buying a ZX-6R, or just invest it in something with a good return.

That ALL sounds awesome!! and 1) I can use the practice - since I can't back with a trailer for shit - I just unhook it and roll it around...2) Camping is ALWAYS a good idea!!...3) The pintle came with the Rough Rider model/frame and it makes sense b/c it is designed to be an off road trailer and the pintle allows for maximum travel/flex between truck and trailer...4) I bring the cover with me -- but you can never beat a fire!!

Although - I am committed this weekend - going to www.runforyourlives.com to photograph it and staying at a RV park down there and will be at Tolt-McDonald camping the weekend of the 7th.....this nice weather means things fill up fast...but keeping a close eye on this thread....from the 21-29 of September I will be camping in OR then attending the Prosser Hot Air Balloon Rally in Prosser (WA)....I have wanted to go to that ever since I moved back here!!! (6 years).....

^ the guys from run for your lives were considering covering my last truck in zombie decals.

SO... I haven't been to any of these mod meets... or really any meet. How does the mod meet work? Do I bring food, beer, water, wife, tools, etc? How long do they normally last (morning to night, noon and on, or just afternoon). I am gonna try to see if I can get my MT kit here by then.

I am working my reserve duty 9 Sept-24 Sept so the 7th should be fine for me.

wheeling meets, count on all day to multiple days depending on the adventure. install meets generally have a start time with no end time because it will change from one meet to the next. The last install meet at Will's house lasted a couple days, and was slightly side tracked by a lot of alcohol consumption. if you don't have anything to install, just show up, and you can live vicariously through other people's mods. tools are good to bring if you have some. typically everybody brings a little something for food/drink and it is potluck. i bring beer, in growlers, to any meet i make it to, but that is because I am a beer snob, and want to make sure there will be beer there I like.

What will you be bringing to us for a treat once hunting season is over? I would be happy with smoked duck, venison sausage, elk steaks, or just about anything else along those lines.

I got the BAMF LCA skids. if you want to see how yours fit compared to those, I will be working in Seattle tomorrow (Saturday) in Magnolia, and could meet up after work.

Anybody with a TRD offroad and upgraded skids have their oem gas tank skid and want to part with it? I'd rather not go full steel, but I figure the oem one would be better than nothing.

Just dropping in and introducing myself and saying hello, I just moved back to Washington and sold my Tacoma but still have my tundra, none of the tundra guys want to meet up and do anything. This is how my truck sits now, my old taco pics are still up on here

I haven't really taken it out much, but it did good when I was stationed in New Mexico, I was trying to get some other guys on one of the tundra forums to go wheeling but no bits, I know the Taco guys are always down to go!! LOL. I met a guy with one that's lifted like mine but he laughed when I asked if he went off road with it

I thought some of the guys with long beds have hard times on the trails here....I can only imagine that tundra!
