My apartments just called me because I have x-runner wheels on my balcony, I think I am gonna convince them that it is street themed lawn furniture. Lol

Gave some homeless guy a nice breakfast sandwhich this morning. I usually ignore them. He was thankful.

i refuse to give money to them. the VA did a study on them (houston area bums) a few years back and found that some of them were pulling in upwards of 80k. one guy parked his mercedes a few blocks away from his spot and at the end of the day drove to his house.

There is a family ( husband, wife, two kids) that would park thier mini van outside of walmart on almeda and hold a sign saying need money! So I would bitch the husband out and tell him to be a man and get a fucking job. Fucked up part was they also sit at the sams parking off 610!! I drove by and saw them! In the same van! Honked and gave the finger

Best one I have seen was this guy asking for money on a corner, I drove by and went to the apartments down the street. We were outside smoking when this guy goes into tge the apartment two doors down, and walked outside with a beer in hand!

You going to mall crawl with me?? Lol

    I give food. Never money.

    Sometimes booze.

    Shiiiieeeeet.

There is this POS woman who does that off Richmond (or is it Westheimer?) and Hillcroft. Bitch parks her Lexus behind Starbucks and then peddles the street looking for handouts. One of the news stations featured her in their investigative reporting on fake homeless people. As far as I know she's still there.

The homeless problem is getting to be just as bad here as it is in Austin. I remember going to the LBJ to study and there would be bums asleep in the entrance. Not long afterwards they thankfully put scan card readers on the doors to keep them out.

It's this handout society we live in. The American Dream used to be that if you work hard, you work smart, you'd make at least a decent living and be able to provide for yourself and your family. Now it's all about "hustling" and handouts.

Remember to work hard! Millions of welfare junkies are depending on you!

Easiest way to tell a real bum from a fake bum, a real bum will have all there shit with them. There is a fake bum I pass by every week that holds a sign that says "lost job and home" yet he has different clothes on and looks pretty clean every day he is out tgere and people still give him money! WTF

Heh. While we are on the subject I saw the most creative sign, "help, family abducted by aliens, need $" .. it was unique, but the part I laughed at was it was one of my brother's signs for his business the dude cut up and wrote on the back of, made my day.

i like the ones that say "bet you can't hit me with a quarter". i always try. when i first got back to houston after korea in jan 2010, i had a guy approach me and my friend outside of the flying saucer and say "i was displaced by katrina, you got any spare change?" we laughed at him and walked off.
