Damn..I'll take lights if you're offering them, especially HID so I can blind the shit outta people. Course I don't have money, but that's not a problem right!

 

I went through 3 racks on my gen 1. They get easier and easier to change with practice.

 

Lol it's not the changing them out . I turn wrenches everyday . It's the buying stupid fucking parts . It just never ends with this truck .

No idea . It started getting noisy last week . Just got it up on stands today and its a lovely metal on metal grinding internally in the rack .

 

Hey I'm very nice to my truck . And I always fix and do maint . I think I just got a lemon .

 

I didnt say you weren't nice to your truck. You just take and make the hardest lines. Hell, we were playing follow the leader on the comp course at Rausch.

 

So you going back to stock and getting rid of it? Or putting it back to stock and buying an off road beater?

The broken rear end was understandable given the position he was stuck in, a steering rack though? I would think the tre's would be the weak link in the steering system, not the rack itself.

If I recall, he already went through tie rod ends last summer.

Ya I've already replaced all 4 tierods last year

That's what I was getting at, I would think the broken tre's would prevent damage to the rack itself.
