Heres the update pics. Not too much different but everything is getting buttoned up. Still need to mount the front glass, hopefully tomorrow before it leaves.

Looks wide as hell, but its only 85" wide. Front is strapped at 21". Should sit just a little higher.

We decided to go full flex line on the brakes. We have a spare made so that it can replace any of the 3 sections of brake line on the truck.

All the necessary gauges are in, all switches are in (minus one we found today to be shit), we have the fuses very easy to access, shifter is tucked down inside the trans tunnel and all sealed up.

There is no caster change when the front end cycles right? I'd say shoot for 5-10* of caster then take it to an alignment shop and be done with it.

It's tempting!!! I'm holding off tho to see what happens with my other truck situation. "If" my truck sells and I go pickup the new toy then the expo will actually very likely get dipped. "If" my truck doesn't sell, then the Expo will get a real paint job and an Atlas 2 t-case and my yota will get new spindles, possibly new upper arms and some loving inside the interior.

All of that 100% depends on whether my truck does or doesn't sell... So everything is currently on hold basically.

And yeah, rather then the 55 gallon drum of oil in the back like most use for their cool prerunner look, I just haul around a race truck. I think it's more legit this way.

    There's a possibility I might be able to get a '00 tundra, ext cab, V8, 4x4.
It would be a salvage title, so it would be cheap. It was rear ended and the frame is bent in the rear.
Aside from the frame, bedsides and tailgate, its in great condition.
Thoughts on using it for a platform for something? TT?

Thanks. So i removed the front (towards the front bumper) shims, removed 3 washers, and put it back together, kicking the upper uniball back towards the cab. The caster looks like it is positive now, and the wheels straighten themselves out (indication of positive caster). However, on turns, it turns gradually, then suddenly grabs like the outside corner of the truck, as if the edge of the tire is getting grabbed under the truck. This happened previously and was fixed by increasing camber, but i was running about -7* which is kind of stupid on a daily driver.
Its hard to explain, and if theres any more details i can provide i will to the best of my ability. It seems like there is a ton of body roll, and as it rolls it grabs.
Toe is in 1/8", camber is approx -2 degrees. Any tips? Im starting to understand camber, caster, and toe and how they interact, but im not sure what could cause this type of intense steering.

Yessir, After adjusting caster it was way out so i brought it back in to within an 1/8 of an inch, but i can measure again now. Would that lead to the symptoms im experiencing?

I'm so confused. Still getting wobbles at 70, although much less than before, gonna check the rear end bearings tomorrow and tires/rims. Steering feels divey, and not very progressive, with a sudden yank into the turn as it progresses. Caster is positive now, camber is less negative (about 1-2*) than before.
I read that "Positive caster also increases tire lean when cornering (almost like having more negative camber) as the steering angle is increased", which i would think would give the opposite effect than what im experiencing.
Any steering geometry gurus out there? Or anyone know a good place for resources?
I read this http://www.simpsonmotorsport.com/uploads/files/SuspensionSetup.pdf among a few other things, but i cant figure out what would cause divey steering other than camber change not being negative enough on the outer tire. But i honestly dont know.. first time really playing with alignment.

I highly recommend spending a 140$ on some alignment gauges if your.determined to do the alignment yourself. There is not much advice to.give without knowing what your real world numbers are. To calculate your caster, its the difference of camber with a measurement with the wheel turned left 15° than turned right 15°. If you have a protracter you can figure it out with a digital level also
