Jcruiser, what exactly are we looking at?

That first pictures looks like a paper shot shell crimped down to a rifle round, is that right?

And do I see a 32 or 38 caliber rimfire?

And what is the bomb looking thing next the the rifle case (30-06?)

Here's my new custom grip for my Dan Wesson 741. The wood is black walnut burl.

My Glock 19. I've flattened the backstrap to a minor degree, sanded the finger grooves, added Warren tactical sights and hi viz baseplates.

Nice. Where'd you get that? I got a 686 that would look a lot nicer with a nice wood grip.

Thanks. There is a guy that does custom grips for Dan Wessons as a hobby. His site is LBCustomGrips. He really does beautiful work, and for the price I'll keep buying them. He has a piece of Lignum Vitae that I found right now and he's working on a second grip for me.

Appreciate that man - I told them both that we'd build them each one gun but it was going to be a good one :)

Mine (with the Green barrel) out to 650yds, but his has only reached out to around 300. He can make a pretty awesome group at 210 all day long. He's 13 now, his brother is 12 and has that Spikes Tactical AR I built - he can ring steel at 300 but his optics are only 3x so I don't know how much farther he can go without switching to something with more magnification.

We need to get out and shoot again - it's been too long.

I guess I've gone off the deep end on the Dan Wessons. I just received a new production 15" barrel for my 15-2 357 mag. :D
