    Hey guys,
I found deep scratches on my textured bumper. Would I be able to buy just the textured piece or do I have to order a new bumper?

Here's a picture of the bumper.

    Thank.

I have this same issue with mine, bought it with a scratch in the front. I'm debating the plasti-dipping it or replacing it too. Its separate from the rest of the bumper and seems pretty easy to take on and off.

I had a scratch/dent/gash like that in mine when I bought it. Some sand paper, body filler, spray in bedliner and time made it all go away!

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully I can get my hands on this particular part. If not, I just might sand it and spray either pastidip or regular black
    Paint.

Honestly, I think bedliner would be the most viable option, tougher and would probably stand up the best to road debris. I'm going to give it a shot with plasti-dip first because it matches so well with the grille. Probably give a more cohesive look. Would just like a bedliner that looked the same.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

it is easy to take off (6ish clips on bottom, 5ish under the grill and two in the middle you have to really reach for with those blue plastic push through pin deals)

    Hey KK,
Cool thanks for the pointers and pictures. If it comes out, hopefully it can be replaced without having to buy a new bumper.

You could try using a heat gun and some sandpaper to try and smooth it out a bit. I read you heat it up and press the sandpaper on it to get the texture back. Got some good ones on my bumper I need fixed but said F it lol.

If your going to Plasti-dip it, I would do what I did and do alot of coats making sure not to get any runs. (5-6) And then get some plasti-dip clear coat and do 3-4 light coats for more protection..
Mine has held up great in the 7-8 months I have had it. Not one ding or scratch! Plasti-dip holds up great against the elements.

I only have a small scratch where the license plate touches it. :)

I plasti-dipped the part when I got home today, very easy to do. Did about three coats, may do one or two more. Looks like nothing ever scratched it, and honestly, look great ad matches the grille. I highly recommend plasti-dipping it before you do anything else. I just stuffed some construction floor paper behind it to not get anything on the radiator then used the back of a school notebook, the cardboard-ish part and went around framing it so I didn't have to tape it off, worked pretty damn good. JUST DONT LET IT RUN!

I didn't do the clearcoat just the plasti-dip satin black.

Aw sweet! Thanks KK. I'm going to Toyota and see if they could fix it because I didn't drive it anywhere except going Toyota to put on my side step.

That sounds good. If i do put clear coat over the PD, will I be able to peel it off in long run?

Nice!!! Got before and after pic?
