Not exactly sure what you're asking....

You have wheel spacers? They are mounted inbetween the wheel & the rotor - correct?

Hub caps are mounted on the outside of the wheel.....

ooohhhh... i thought they slid through the hole in the wheel (going in through the back side) and had a lip at the base that caught itself on the wheel... then you just put on your wheel and it sort of pinches itself in there...

how do they stay on if you put it on without taking the wheel off?

I'm not rehearsed on hub caps myself...but any hub caps I've seen just POP onto the outside of a wheel using clips & stuff. They stay on pretty good until the clips wear out. That's why you see 'em laying on the roadways a lot of times.

But don't quote me on that.... It would depend on the brand hub cap you're getting. Also, Make sure the hub cap is compatible to fit/attache to your wheels.

I don't know how you'd know that....or if the manufacturer would know??

CENTER caps from wheelers are made to pop through the hole in the center of the rim from the backside. as if they will fit urs, no idea.
