Mos def don't rattle can your entire vehicle. Do do right you need to clean and preferably clay bar your vehicle and then buy the spray version of it in larger quantities and then use like a wagner or similar gun to apply it. Last I saw materials would run you a couple hundred bucks w/o the cost of the sprayer which would probably increase that about 50% depending on what you went with. I've seen there are several colors now including red, blue and some others which look pretty good. For my money though the original flat black looks best. I agree that, like with most things, prep and application is key but this is stuff is VERY forgiving too. You can rush the prep and application and while it's not ideal it will still last quite a long time. Removal takes an hour or so for a whole vehicle and it comes right off and leaves NO residue and doesn't damage anything underneath. The guy that has Dip Your Car also has several videos with nice Audis and other cars that he has done for years w/o any adverse affects. I can tell you that the parts that I have done all last through just about anything including automatic car washes. I was concerned at first but after having this stuff on smooth chrome parts for years on several vehicles including grill trim and areas that get absolutely beat I'm a believer. It's hard to explain until you do something and you see how durable this stuff really is. Since it's a rubberized coating and you do several layers it has better chip/ding protection that vinyl in my experience too. I've use to clear bra everything and had a few chips here and there underneath. Now, I will say that those chips would have w/o a doubt been larger or worser but when you dip something with several coats you will see what I'm talking about about it protecting better. There's a slight rubber spring to it and in my experience this little bit really helps. I was this close -><- to dipping my entire truck before I got the new scooped hood painted. I still may at some point actually because I like the flat black look. Now with the new wheels I could get away with it too as the old wheels woulda looked silly with a flat black truck and I don't really like the look of those stock wheels painted black either to dip them.

The vinyl these days is good stuff for sure. It gets better but goes up in price as it does too. For basic flat black plastiderp is the way to go IMO. The cost difference is enormous to the point where you can change colors if you get tired of it in an afternoon. They make it in a few colors now. Like I said before, for a couple hundred bucks and an afternoon of effort it's quite a sweet option. Not for everyone and if you want some special color or graphics I wouldn't recommend it.

    Why you sunofa!

    :D

    HBD sucka!

Thanks guys! I'm pretty content with how it turned out and my wheels/tires are no longer a source of frustration for me.

Like I said, our malls are pretty deserted around these parts. I'm pretty sure it's Marshall Law too which is why I carry so many guns. You city folk just wouldn't understand such living. :D

This is 10sec from my house BTW. I literally pulled off the road before pulling into the neighborhood to take these real quick. Better background than someone's lab porking someone's stray pit bull & a Nova up on blocks in the front yard. :p

Wow I have never seen a car get chipped trough Clear Bra. That's crazy talk right there. :D And I agree on single color full coverage it would be then vinyl.

As I was driving around my future neighborhood. I noticed all the kids that were playing in the parks speaking English. This I'm happy about. :D

Yeah, we're pretty high-end around these parts. They're probably paper-carrying residents too.
