I am not the op for these but saw the pics and liked them and ordered last night from ebay where cupeez has their site. FYI I looked around the site and was planning on ordering a set of 2 for 14.99 but looked around and found a set of 4 for 24.99 which includes shipping. They had a couple different colors and selections, I went for the carbon fiber matte finish. I may be a nice guy and put 2 on my wifes murano, if I really like I'll order 4 more to cover all vehicles. Go to cupeezcars on eba y and look around.

Nice! Where'd you get that panel? I'm trying to find spots for switches I am gonna need and that would work perfectly!

I installed the OEM roof racks after work tonight. Took maybe an hour, perhaps a bit more but it's an easy install I had a storm pushing in so don't have great pictures, but I think I like them on the truck.

The Kayak should fit up there fine. I'll pop it up there this weekend and see.

Next mod on the list: topper or tonneau. Just can't decide. I've had a topper on a truck for 13 years and it was fantastic. I do like the looks without on the Taco, but the utility of a topper is not to be overlooked.

Edit to add the pics. I'm such a space cadet!

They've got a pretty big selection.

Unless you mean the larger panel that the switch panel is mounted in. That I cut out a sheet of 1/8 aluminum and pastidipped.

Thanks! I'll check it out when I get home from work. Do they provide the panel that fits there or just the switches?

it depends on the yak. ive got a Thule rack with a 10 foot kayak and it fits fine, i could probably put a 15 foot on with no problem. just make sure you run the straps over the top of the yak, otherwise when you hit 40 it will sound like someones trying to cut a hole in your roof with a jackhammer.

Guant: Yea, I learned that lesson long ago. And your description is the best one I've heard: it does sound like a jackhammer, I'm gonna remember that one.

SFCAdams: They are Duratracs, 265/70/17 on the stock wheels. These are good tires so far, I only have about 500 miles on them, they are not too noisy and work well in the rain. Rain is a big deal here in Florida, we get some real major pop-up storms that can lay down an inch of rain in no time causing puddles and fills the tire wear paths on the highways really fast. I've not had a hydroplane issue or even any sliding when braking (o.k., it doesn't slide, I haven't had the ABS kick in).

Thanks guys for the comments. I'm slowly getting the truck setup the way I need it.

Just replaced center support bearing and added OME drop kit. I had a transmission shop replace the bearing about 3000 miles ago and it squeeled since it go it back... Figured out they didn't put ANY grease on the seals, so one SKF center bearing shot. My truck sounded like a beater the whole time too.

Thanks for the tire info and I am all too familiar with Florida. I was born and raised there....
